Our History
The Radiological Society of Zambia (RSZ) was established to bring together radiographers, sonographers, radiation therapists and other medical imaging professionals in Zambia. It was formed to promote professional unity, support education and training, advance research, and advocate for high-quality, safe and accessible medical imaging services for all Zambians.
Since its inception, RSZ has grown from a small group of dedicated professionals into a national body representing the medical imaging community. Through continuous professional development, scientific meetings, conferences and collaboration with local and international partners, the Society has contributed to the growth of medical imaging services in Zambia and the broader healthcare system.
Today, RSZ remains committed to its founding vision – to advance the medical imaging profession and improve patient care through education, research, advocacy and collaboration.
