RSZ Privacy Notice

The Radiological Society of Zambia (RSZ) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information.

We aim to handle your information responsibly and in accordance with Zambia’s Data Protection Act, 2021.

Information we collect and use

We collect and use information you provide to manage your account, membership, payments, certificates and Society communications.

Depending on the services you use, this includes contact details, professional information, qualifications, career history, payment records and supporting evidence, event bookings, CPD records, enquiries and submissions. Optional profile photographs and mentoring preferences are recorded when supplied.

Access and platform services

Your information may be accessed by authorised RSZ administrators and service providers who help operate the platform. Administrators access records according to their assigned permissions. Security and activity records help investigate errors, misuse and administrative changes.

The platform uses hosting and email services to operate the website and deliver messages. Protected forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to help prevent automated abuse.

Public profiles and submissions

Mentor and consultant profiles will only be published with your permission. Review your profile and availability settings before choosing to appear in a support directory. Unpublished consultant drafts are restricted to authorised administrators.

Approved posts and other submissions intended for public display may also appear on the website.

Communications and external services

Email invitations and reminders may record delivery status and visits through invitation links. Opening a survey invitation does not itself record your answers or confirm that you completed the survey. Use the email preferences link supplied in applicable messages to manage those preferences.

External services linked from RSZ, including Facebook, scholarship websites and external surveys, have their own privacy arrangements.

Your information and enquiries

You can update available account and profile fields after signing in. Some records may need to be retained for membership administration, financial records, security or resolving enquiries; backups may also contain earlier copies.
