RSZ Introduces New Digital Platform for Radiography Professionals
The Radiological Society of Zambia (RSZ) has introduced a new digital platform aimed at strengthening communication, professional engagement and access to Society services for radiography and medical imaging professionals across Zambia.
The platform brings together key RSZ services in one place, making it easier for members, students and partners to access information, manage membership and stay connected with professional activities.
Through the new platform, users will be able to create individual accounts, register under the appropriate membership category and access a personalised member dashboard.
Professional and Associate Members will be able to manage their profiles, view membership information, access learning opportunities and participate in mentorship initiatives. Student members will also have access to dedicated support, mentorship, career guidance, research opportunities and professional-development resources.
The platform will also serve as a central hub for RSZ news, announcements, events, continuing professional development activities, job opportunities and research updates.
A new Notice Board will allow important Society announcements and urgent information to be displayed prominently, while the Gallery will showcase RSZ activities, professional development events and engagement with the wider imaging community.
The Society is also introducing a mentorship directory where qualified members who choose to participate can make themselves available to support students and early-career professionals.
Employers and organisations will be able to submit relevant job opportunities for review and publication, helping to connect imaging professionals with career opportunities locally and internationally.
The digital platform is being introduced in phases, with additional services such as integrated online membership payments expected to be expanded as the system develops.
Where online payment confirmation is unavailable, authorised RSZ administrators will still be able to manually activate verified memberships to ensure that members are not unnecessarily prevented from accessing Society services.
The development of the platform forms part of RSZ’s wider commitment to strengthening professional communication, continuous learning, innovation and collaboration within Zambia’s medical imaging community.
RSZ encourages radiographers, sonographers, radiotherapy professionals, students, educators, researchers and other stakeholders to explore the platform and take advantage of the new digital services.
