RSZ Digital Platform Highlights Education, Training and Professional Expertise
The Radiological Society of Zambia (RSZ) is bringing education, training and professional expertise closer to its members through dedicated sections on its digital platform.
The Education and Training section is designed to help students and practising professionals explore programmes offered by universities, colleges and medical imaging training institutions. By bringing this information together, RSZ aims to make it easier for users to identify learning opportunities and plan their next steps in education and career development.
For prospective students, the section provides a starting point for exploring pathways into radiography and medical imaging. For qualified professionals, it supports the search for further training, postgraduate study and opportunities to develop specialist knowledge.
The platform also includes an RSZ E-Learning Centre, supporting continued learning through structured educational material relevant to professional practice. Alongside information on workshops and other training opportunities, this creates a dedicated space for members to strengthen their knowledge and remain engaged in professional development.
A Consultant Profiles section places a spotlight on expertise within the profession. It is intended to showcase consultants’ qualifications, professional backgrounds, areas of specialisation and contributions to clinical practice, education and research.
These profiles can help students and professionals learn about different career pathways and identify areas of shared interest for mentorship, knowledge exchange and professional collaboration.
Together, these features support RSZ’s commitment to a more connected and informed medical imaging community. Members, educators, training institutions and consultants are encouraged to contribute accurate, up-to-date information to help the platform become a useful resource for the profession across Zambia.
